Redmi Note 12 4G is powered by Snapdragon 685
The new mid-range device comes with Qualcomm’s 11nm Snapdragon 685 chipset, which has 2x 2GHz – Kryo 460 Gold (Cortex-A76) and 6x 1.7GHz Kryo 460 Silver (Cortex-A55). Additionally, the chipset has the Adreno 612 GPU. The Redmi Note 12 4G is expected to feature 6GB and 8GB RAM options, but Xiaomi announced that it will have 11GB RAM with a Virtual RAM feature.
On the display, the upcoming phone will likely feature a 6.67-inch FullHD+ screen as other 12 series. In addition, the phone comes with a Super AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. The company revealed on its official Indian website that its display will have a centered punch hole for the selfie camera.
In terms of camera, the Note 12 4G will have a triple camera setup on the back, including a 50-megapixel main, 8-megapixel ultra-wide, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. On the front, it is expected to feature a 13-megapixel selfie camera.
The phone has a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging. Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi will launch the Redmi Note 12 4G model in India on 30 March 2023 at the Xiaomi Fan Festival. Additionally, the company will launch the Note 12 series in Europe today at 3 PM UTC.
